It's not an xc frame... On the specialized website it is classified as aggressive all-mountain. And not only do I dirtjump on it, I also do downhill and street. The frame is still lasting after three years.

We built up a new section of the race course, took out one of the more difficult rocky sections and built a smooth section with a nice hip on it. Further up the other half of the crew built a massive berm, while a carpenter cam in and built an a-frame over some rocks, which could be used as a 15 foot gap/drop. On the other side of the hill another crew was working on the cross country trails, while another crew built a pumptrack. It was pretty sick.

I doubt I'll get up to fortune for another couple weeks though, I work everyday they're open and then I have guests coming and then I'm off to halifax for a week. I'll let you know how it is when I do make it up thogh. And the slx is sick so far. Look nice and feel stiff, only did one real day of riding so far but I like them.

Thanks man. Friend trashed a bike and lent me a stem so the bars are now on too. Enjoy the culture while you're there! Maybe we'll get out riding sometime when you get back.

Yeah! Too bad i can't ride until after exams, and the fact the bb is only on hand tight. Screw not having the right tools. I dont even know how good the cranks feel as I havnt stepped on it yet, oh well, couple more hours and my friend will be home with the tool

Not sure yet, If I just get the frame I would also be buying hydros, and depending on hwo well the ss turned out, an x-9 drivetrain with three or four gears.

No white, and I may be buying a small travel fully midway through the summer, until then this is good enough.

There was no outcome as of yet, I was talking to one of the owners/builders of the company this weekend at a trail day and he was telling me they will be building sixteen this year, and most of them are preordered. If you want one you better get in touch quickly! Everyone I have spoken to as of yet love the bike. The guy also told me he had just finished testing the last proto stage and it was super stiff. Just get in touch with them and I'm sure they would be glad to answer any questions.

Havn't done any dh on them yet, but I rode a friend's bike with them at fortune and unless you'r riding on mostly dirt I would not recommend them. Although, my 2.6gazza and 2.5nbx work wonders up there.

I havn't lost any of the stock ones after a year and a half,they just don't provide enough grip for dh at the moment.
